The Bluebirders of Wake County "kickoff meeting" was held on Sunday July 9, 2006 at St. Mark's Chapel on the grounds of Mordecai Historic Park in Raleigh. The meeting was attended by thirty-one "bluebird enthusiasts." Meetings are free, open to the public, and held on a quarterly basis.
